Hazlemere Commercial were extremely proud when they were awarded several phases of refurbishment work at two such prestigious schools as John Hampden Grammar School and High Wycombe Girls High School.
With these two educational establishments being less than 300 yards apart and less than 1/2 mile from Hazlemere Commercial’s 38,000 square foot aluminium fenestration factory on Cressex Business Park, being awarded several phases of work over a period of years was extremely convenient for all parties concerned. All these refurbishment projects involved replacing the existing non-thermally broken windows with commercial aluminium windows that had a thermal break, thus significantly improving the comfort of the teaching environments at both schools.
Both these schools opted for white powder coated Sapa aluminium double glazed fenestration products in a gloss finish in RAL 9910Gi. Hazlemere Commercial stock their Sapa aluminium window, door and curtain walling systems in this colour, so having this colour sped up the procurement process for both Wycombe Girls High School and John Hampden Grammar School. Given the vast majority of each phase had to be completed during the school holidays, it is always helpful going for a stock colour, so that if there ever is a miss-measure or a frame gets damaged during transportation to site (or even on site before being installed), then a re-make can swiftly be done, ensuring the refurbishment programme does not slip.
