Over the last 25 years, Hazlemere Commercial have completed many installation projects on educational establishments. From primary schools to specialised colleges our aim is the same; to provide high quality installations carried out safely, with minimum disruption to the working environment of the building.
During this time, we have won various awards for our work in the education sector including the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) award for our installations at Bideford College. We have also signed long term contracts with several local authorities for ongoing commercial project work.
Burnham Grammar School
One of our more recent projects was a large scale fenestration installation at Burnham Grammar School in South Buckinghamshire. The project entailed the manufacture and installation of thermally broken SAPA aluminium windows and doors throughout the school. When we started removing the existing windows we discovered that there was asbestos present in the building. All work was immediately postponed until we had organised the safe removal of all the asbestos.
Once the work was completed, the head teacher was so impressed by the way that Hazlemere had handled the entire project that he wrote an unsolicited letter of praise stating: ‘Your handling of the whole process has been exemplary and the service level at each stage was outstanding’.
