Reynaers CS 104 window and door system achieves unparalleled insulation values for aluminium profiles in the building industry, introducing a solution for passive construction.
The CS 104 is a part of the existing CS product range, with the added benefit of enhanced insulation values, which are down to a U-value of 0.77 W/m²K, thereby providing windows and doors fit for passive buildings.
A special set of gaskets assures not only excellent insulation, but also increased wind and water tightness. After insulation, air tightness is the most important factor determining the energy-efficiency of any window or door.
The increased built-in depth of 104 mm contributes to the profiles strength and stability, giving architects and builders the design benefits of large, expansive glass surfaces combined with strong aluminium frames to allow them the freedom to work with innovative, energy-efficient and sustainable profiles.
Reynaers Aluminium premium sliding door system CP 155 just got even better with enhanced, high insulation performance achieving the Swiss Minergie® Modul. This confirms its suitability for use on low energy buildings.
The upgrade of the system means it can achieve significantly improved insulation levels down to a U-value of 1.07 W/m²K. This, in turn, provides a complete glazed element where the insulation values offered are as low as U 1.0 W/m²K. As a result, Reynaers CP 155-LS/HI is certified with a Minergie® label promoting its suitability as a product for use on low energy buildings, whether they are new build or a renovated building envelope.
