Having previously worked for Kier Construction at Octagon House in Portsmouth, Hazlemere Commercial were again appointed by Kier to fabricate and fit all the different coloured commercial aluminium windows and doors for the new build educational project at Green Ridge Primary Academy, set on the Berryfields Estate, north of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.
Green Ridge staff and pupils moved to its permanent new Kier built buildings in September 2018, it opened its Nursery and pre-school (Little Ridges), as well as being able to take additional sixty children for the Reception intake each academic year. Main contractors Kier awarded the contract to manufacture and install all the double glazed aluminium windows, commercial aluminium doors and aluminium curtain walling on this new build project to South Buckinghamshire based Hazlemere Commercial.
The £300,000 + VAT worth of fenestration products ordered by Kier from Hazlemere Commercial were Sapa Elegance 52ST powder coated anthracite grey aluminium double glazed curtain walling with matching Sapa DF75 Si aluminium commercial window inserts and Sapa STII automated double glazed commercial aluminium entrance doors. Hazlemere also supplied and fitted multi-coloured feature aluminium pressings in the RAL colours of Lime, Copper, Green and Grey.
