Hazlemere Commercial’s team of experienced fitters installed all the aluminium windows, commercial doors and curtain walling in the new Bideford College in Devon. This exciting £2.4m double glazing project is unique in that all the window frames were manufactured by Hazlemere Commercial using recycled aluminium billet at their 56,000 square feet Head Office and Factory premises in High Wycombe, Bucks.
Hazlemere Commercial worked with the main contractor Morgan Ashurst to deliver the sustainable double glazing contract on time and on budget. One of the striking design features includes a 70 metre long double glazed sloping double glazed rooflight, and block after block of aluminium double glazed curtain walling. All the aluminium curtain walling was manufactured at Hazlemere Commercial’s specialised fabrication facility in High Wycombe. The new build project won a prestigious RIBA award in 2011.
