Independent aluminium double glazing manufacturers and installers, Hazlemere Commercial are thrilled to have recently secured two new projects that involve using thermally broken bespoke AluK aluminium casement window products.
Hazlemere Commercial were awarded a substantial refurbishment contract by Colchester Borough Homes, worth approaching £1/2m to carry out window & door replacements. There are multiple products being used on this project due to the nature of the many different buildings requiring replacement fenestration. The AluK replacement powder coated double glazed aluminium window products being used on this contract by Hazlemere Window Company Ltd are their 58BW casement window system and their 58BW ST steel framed replacement window system.
Colchester Borough Homes selected Hazlemere Commercial as their partner for this second Phase of their refurbishment of the Dutch Quarter in Colchester, Essex. Overseen by consultants Arcadis, the AluK replacement aluminium windows being fabricated and fitted by Hazlemere for this £470,000 + VAT project are the specially designed steel framed replacement AluK 58BW ST aluminium double glazed window system.
In addition Leicester City Council recently awarded Hazlemere Commercial a £300K window and door refurbishment contract at Braunstone Frith Primary School in Leicestershire, where the primarily product that has been specified are AluK powder coated 58BW aluminium casement windows.
In both cases, Hazlemere Commercial are responsible for surveying the existing apertures and take ultimate responsibility for getting the manufacturing sizes and designs for the replacement AluK aluminium casement windows 100% correct, and of course carrying out a high quality installation.
