Hampshire County Council undertakes an annual review of its contractors in an effort to maintain the quality of service its contractors provides to its many clients.
To do this Hamphire County Council carries out regular monitoring of contractor performance, seeking feedback from both the client and the contract administrator on completion of each project undertaken.
In the financial tax year 2011-2012 the overall average performance score achieved by all specialist contractors was 87%. However, in the next financial tax year 2012-2013, this overall average dropped to 85%, despite the awarding of three specialist contracts to independent aluminium double glazing manufacturers and installers Hazlemere Windows.
The average score for Hazlemere Commercial from feedback received from all three Hampshire County Council clients during 2012-2013 was 98%. Moreover Hazlemere Commercial achieved a 100% approval rating in the areas of Time Management and Customer Satisfaction/Liaison from all three clients, namely Fernhill School and Language College, The Connaught School and Frogmore Community College.
In terms of quality of workmanship and contractor performance. the first two educational establishments awarded Hazlemere Commercial a 10 out of 10 satisfaction rating, whilst Frogmore College awarded Hazlemere a still very credible 9 out of 10 rating.
Hampshire County Council make it clear that they will continue to strive to improve their own performance and to set high standards for the contractors that they employ.
