Working for Principal Contractors M C Designs Limited, who were responsible for overseeing the Health & Safety on site, and erecting the scaffolding required to carry out this total refurbishment, Hazlemere Commercial fabricated and installed all the replacement powder coated dual coloured aluminium windows and doors (RAL 7016 matt anthracite grey externally and internally RAL 9910Gi white gloss).
There was a significant number of different double glazed aluminium products used on this product, including a mix of commercial aluminium windows and residential aluminium casement doors, and aluminium residential sliding patio doors, the latter being fitted to all residential apartments patio areas on the ground floor and to each and every balcony on the first, second and third floors.
The actual dual coloured aluminium products manufactured and installed on the product were Sapa Dualslide horizontal sliding double glazed windows, Sapa Dualframe 75SI top hung double glazed casement windows, Sapa Crown aluminium entrance doors and three section Sapa Crown aluminium double glazed sliding patio doors. The latter have an “A” energy rating, so are extremely thermally efficient, thanks largely down to the 98mm deep aluminium profile having a very slim outer frame on the fixed sections.
