CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) relates to business practices which benefit society. These could include environmental practices such as recycling, sustainable product sourcing and ethical waste management. CSR also refers to a corporate entity’s relationship with members of society including their own workforce. This sphere of CSR includes ethical recruitment processes, charitable and philanthropic work, and projects which benefit society both locally and globally.

We aim to offer training, transfer, and promotion opportunities to all our staff members. We also operate a staff development system which is inclusive and beneficial to everyone involved.
Community projects to improve society
At Hazlemere Commercial we carry out large scale commercial installations for local authorities, educational establishments, and commercial properties. While always striving to complete our installations to an extremely high quality, we also place much focus on working in an ethical and eco-friendly manner.
Our installations are carried out in a professional and efficient way to minimise any negative societal impact. We work closely with local authorities and employ industry specialists to create dynamic installation plans which will have a positive impact on society.
Throughout 2015, their 30th anniversary, Hazlemere raised money for Barnardo’s Children’s Charity. In December 2016 Hazlemere organised 12 days of giving amongst their staff, raising money for 12 different charities over the 12 days. Also they donated 4 installers for an intense week, along with supplying all the window and door products free of charge to fit out an entire home in Welwyn Garden City for BBC One’s DIY SOS, benefiting a very needy family, The programme presented by Nick Knowles was broadcast on BBC1 for the first time in April 2017.
Aluminium: Sustainable, Durable, Recyclable
At Hazlemere Commercial, we use high quality sustainable aluminium. Our factory in High Wycombe is home to the latest CNC cutting machines and high-tech specialist software. The ability to produce accurate windows, doors, and curtain walling every time, minimises waste and maximises efficiency. We use top quality AluK, Reynaers and Sapa aluminium systems which can be manufactured for use in almost any commercial application.
All our aluminium is high performing and eco-friendly. Whenever possible we use recycled aluminium products which are sustainable and retain all the qualities of extracted aluminium.
Public sector procurement framework
Hazlemere Commercial is a member of the A6 LHC framework agreement . The LHC provide free procurement solutions for local authorities, housing associations, businesses, and educational establishments. Their aim is to create a network of trusted companies in the construction industry to deliver an outstanding service across the social housing, schools, and public buildings sector. By engaging with members, clients, and society in general; the LHC hope to improve the standard of living of all members of society. Hazlemere Commercial have been fortunate enough to have been successfully accepted onto the A4, A5 and the current A6 LHC framework.
