Hazlemere Group are excited to announce a new appointment to the Board of Directors. Jenna Ledward has recently been named as Operations Director, joining Rachel Braham-Hill, Tony Beale, Jamie Lewis and Jason Bradshaw on the senior management team. Our founder Stuart Braham still holds the position of Chairman.
On joining Hazlemere as purchasing manager to head up the team of four in the busy purchasing department, Jenna immediately impressed with her can-do attitude and enthusiasm for the role. From Head of Purchasing, it was recognised she had more to offer and was asked to take on the role of Head of Production, responsible for the fabrication operation of the factory. The role was in addition to her heading up the procurement function and the warehouse activities, a huge challenge that Jenna embraced with her signature drive and zeal.
Jenna has proved a very safe pair of hands for our factory operations, critically important to the smooth delivery of our commercial projects. Her integration of the procurement and production departments delivers a more integrated approach and ensures excellent communications throughout the production functions. One of our ISO 9001 / 14001 targets is to move to paperless systems wherever possible across the company and Jenna has been instrumental in developing processes for more sustainable ways of working.
Managing Director, Rachel Braham-Hill, commented “I am very excited that Jenna has joined us on the senior management team. Since joining as purchasing manager in 2017 Jenna has consistently shown the forward-thinking and tenacious attitude that makes her a perfect addition to the Board of Directors here at Hazlemere. Her ability to spot opportunities for improvement and motivate the team saw her quickly promoted to Head of Purchasing and Production and her talents and hard work have now been rightly rewarded with her promotion to the board.”
Jenna commented, “I am thrilled to have been invited to join the Hazlemere Board of Directors. I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead whilst maintaining the core company values and mission statement. Leading the Procurement and Production teams on some prestigious projects over the last few years has been a fantastic experience, elevating my knowledge and confidence to take on this incredible opportunity. It is inspiring to be in a position where I can use my skill set and expertise to help the business grow and develop for the next 30+ years.”
