All of us at Hazlemere were excited to see the recent announcements for The National Fenestration Awards 2022. We have been shortlisted in three categories, Aluminium Fabricator of the Year, Director of the Year and Young Person of the Year.
These awards have been running since 2013 and they pride themselves on being the most inclusive event for our sector.
All shortlisted companies for The National Fenestration Awards have been nominated by members of the industry and only those working within fenestration can vote over the coming weeks. The eventual winners will receive the most votes from their industry peers so going home with a trophy will be a real badge of honour.
We face stiff competition in the Aluminium Fabricator of the Year category, we are certainly in great company. However, 2021/22 has been an exciting time for us with some extensive and technically difficult projects to showcase, plus the celebration of Hazlemere Commercial’s 30 years in the industry.
Our Managing Director Rachel Braham-Hill has been shortlisted in the Director of the Year category and will be a very worthy winner. Rachel succeeded her father and grandfather to take the helm of Hazlemere, becoming Managing Director in 2018 at the age of 28. In a challenging time for the industry Rachel has steered us through the uncertainty and disruption of COVID and we are in the best shape moving through 2022.
Many of our clients will be familiar with Dan Reading, from our commercial estimating team. Dan joined us in 2018 and has spent the subsequent four years committed to developing his fenestration career. Always high energy and relied upon to bring the positivity, Dan is highly thought of by all his colleagues, with an impressive appetite for learning.
The awards ceremony is being held at Doncaster Racecourse in November and the team are looking forward to seeing old friends, and meeting new, to celebrate the best of the fenestration industry. If you are from within our industry please head over to the National Fenestration Awards website before voting closes on 7th October and give us your vote.
Good luck to all the nominated companies and well done for being shortlisted, it’s an honour to be celebrating the skills of the fenestration industry with you.
